CHARLOTTE -- A man is in the hospital after being shot in the leg in Charlotte's Grier Heights neighborhood early Wednesday. 

Police say the victim was shot during an argument at the Marvin Villa Apartments in the 3600 block of Marvin Road around 2 a.m.

The victim was taken to Carolinas Medical Center in serious condition.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
