GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Isaiah Miller etched his name into the UNCG men's basketball record books over his three seasons as a Spartan.

This season, Miller had 89 steals and finished his career with 241, the most ever for UNCG. He was named SoCon Defensive Player of the Year.

The Covington, Georgia native was also named player of the year.

It's the first time a player received both honors in a season for the conference.

The junior helped lead the team to an upset win over Georgetown on November 30, and led the Spartans to 23 wins on the year.

An argument could be made that Miller is one of the most decorated players in UNCG history.

He attributes his success to head coach Wes Miller.

The high flying guard led the team in scoring by dropping 17.7 points a game.

Miller announced his intention to enter his name into the NBA draft via Twitter and has not hired an agent.

Ever since picking up a basketball, Miller fell in love with the sport, and making the decision to test the NBA waters is a dream come true.

"I don't see this as a reality right now, entering my name into the NBA draft, it's unbelievable," says Miller.

Miller plans on holding more meetings before deciding on whether or not to hire an agent and stay in the draft.
