DAVIE COUNTY -- The Davie County Sheriff's Office seized more than two million dollars worth of drugs from a home on Speaks Road this week.

It's the largest cocaine seizure in Davie County's history.

That included about 44 pounds of cocaine, two pounds of methamphetamine, and 109 grams of heroin -- along with more than $50,000 in cash and several guns.

Authorities charged Cervantes Gomez Gonzalo with trafficking all three drugs.

The sheriff's office says multiple police departments, the North Carolina National Guard, and the DEA helped investigators track down a significant source of drugs in the community.
