A storm system continues to advance into the region today. Rain will spread in through the day as highs east toward the 60 degree mark. Much of the rain today will be relatively light, but the intensity of the rain will pick up later this afternoon and tonight. Then, look for heavy rain at times tonight into tomorrow.

Wind will also be an issue, and we could have some wind gusts over 35mph or so, especially tonight.

Anybody in the viewing area is fair game to pick up 1-2" of rain. The heaviest rain totals will likely be in the foothills and mountains where many areas could see 3" and possibly up to 6" of rain through Tuesday night.
