After a hot and humid Thursday, we are getting a small break from the humidity today with highs in the 80s and plenty of sun. However, don't get used to the less muggy setup.

A big upper level ridge will crank over the Southeast as we get deeper into the weekend and into next week. Highs Saturday will be in the upper 80s with highs Sunday in the lower 90s. By the time Monday arrives, highs will surge into the mid 90s.

The higher levels of heat and humidity will stick around at least through the middle of next week. Daily rain chances will remain low until later in the work week.

Happy Father's Day!
