GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A cold front has slipped south of our area, and behind that front, a drier and slightly cooler airmass is settling in. It will feel less oppressive today compared to recent days with lower humidity levels, and rain chances will be essentially nil locally. Highs will top out in the mid and upper 80s.

  • Less humid air is in for Wednesday.
  • Similar weather should remain through the rest of the week.
  • The next system approaches over the weekend.

The weather looks very much the same as we head through Thursday and Friday with highs remaining in the 80s.

Over the weekend, our next system approaches. I still expect a pretty good chance for some scattered showers and storms over the weekend, primarily during the afternoon and evening hours. The scattered storm chances will likely continues into the first few days of next work week as well.

Be sure and check out today's video for more.
