FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Police say they've captured a man wanted for attempted murder in South Carolina.

Authorities say 50-year-old Timothy Turbeville is accused of stabbing a female victim Sunday morning.

Fayetteville PD says they took him into custody Sunday evening near Methodist University.

It's unclear why he came to North Carolina.

He's expected to received his bond conditions at the Cumberland County Jail and face his charge in Florence County, South Carolina.
