JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Jamestown Police have identified the victim in Tuesday's fatal stabbing as 22-year-old Dylan Ownbey. 

Police say Ownbey was walking down Willard Street around 7 p.m. with the suspect before they began fighting. 

The suspect stabbed the victim and ran off down Peterson Street.

Officers believe the two men knew each other. They're still working to identify the suspect.

Police also believe a second person may have been in the area of the altercation and could have run down Peterson Street with the original suspect.
