VESTAL, N.Y. — Vestal police are investigating a robbery at a home on Imperial Woods Drive.

Police say a woman was approached by a masked person while in her garage around 3 p.m. Saturday.

After struggling, the suspect fled on foot with the victim's purse.

The person was last seen running north on Airborne Avenue, toward Vestal Parkway.

The suspect is described as between 5'7 and 5'10.

They were wearing black pants, a blue coat, a black ski mask and gloves.

Vestal police say they do not believe this was random.
