The Everson Museum is decked out for the season, hosting a preview party for its annual Festival of Trees.

The event has taken place for 34 years. More than 100 trees were decorated by local companies and organizations. Each tree has its own personal touch and story.

The trees can be purchased. Proceeds go toward the education programs for children at the museum.

Contributors say they are proud to be a part of a tradition that gets people in the holiday spirit.

"I think it's really exciting that the Everson is really pushing the boundaries and moving forward in such a cool way," said interior designer Thom Filicia. "I love that they're keeping the tradition of the Festival of Trees, and I hope every year, it just seems to be getting better and better. I love being a part of it."

The festival will run for 10 days. It begins Friday.
