KINGSTON, N.Y. — It is year five for the "Made in Kingston"  annual arts celebration on  South Prospect Street.

A packed crowd filled the Metro Thursday to check out the work of 62 artists.

Made in Kingston's founder, Pat Courtney Strong, says the event just continues to grow.

"We've had a flowering of very small businesses, who might employ somewhere between two and ten people, but they are pushing our economy forward because the goods and the services are circulating locally, and that's what we love about the event," she said.

The event also raises funds for a scholarship supporting a Kingston High School student looking to pursue the arts.
