SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Not a long time ago in a movie theater not far, far away ...

Hundreds of dedicated fans went out to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It's the second movie in the newest Star Wars trilogy, and Thursday marked opening night.

Many fans were excited to get their fix, but say it's bittersweet watching Carrie Fisher in her final on-screen appearance as Princess Leia. The film is dedicated to the memory of Fisher, who died in December 2016.
