Broome County seems to be getting healthier with each passing year.

That's according to an annual study released by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and University of Wisconsin.

Broome County is now 53rd in health, out of the 62 counties across the state. Last year the County came in at 55 - and then at 56 in 2016.

For 2018, Broome County also improved its length of life scores and access to clinical care.

The County Health Rankings were first issued in 2010.
