A Southern Tier man is dead after a snowmobile crash in the North Country.
State police say 50-year-old David Toton of Endicott was riding his sled along Mile Strip Trail in the town of Worth on Monday when he failed to make a turn and hit a tree.
He was ejected from the snowmobile and pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
