ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is a folk hero to Bills fans, as his late-game heroics helped secure the franchise's first playoff game in nearly two decades.

Tickets punched, Buffalo fans are showing their appreciation, with thousands donating more than $100,000 to the Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation, which helps seriously ill and physically challenged kids and their families in Cincinnati and Fort Worth, Texas.

Many fans proclaimed that they donated $17 – a dollar for every year of the now-dead Bills playoff drought.

"We cannot thank you enough," Dalton said of the sudden surge. "This has been unbelievable, and let's keep it going."
