PERINTON, N.Y. — FBI agents raiding the Pittsford offices of a high-profile real estate agent involved in many area projects, including the new Performing Arts Center at Parcel Five.

A FBI spokeswoman confirms agents conducted "court-authorized activity" Monday morning at 1080 Pittsford-Victor Road.

That location is the headquarters of Morgan Management and its CEO Robert Morgan.

The raids follow FBI issued subpoenas last fall where a Buffalo newspaper reported that the feds were looking into how companies owned by Morgan secured certain loans. Morgan Communities' website shows the company owns a number of apartment properties in the Buffalo area.

Morgan Communities' owns a number of apartment properties in the Buffalo and Rochester area and is involved in major city projects including Tower 280 and Parcel 5 and its proposed performing arts center.

It's not clear whether or not the investigation is surrounding Morgan, his company or both. The FBI has declined further comment.

In November, Rochester City Council shot down a proposal by Morgan Management for a developers loan to continue the Court Street apartments project in downtown Rochester.
