BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo Bills player is giving back to the community, one touchdown at a time. Fans can help him give a boost to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

It's part of the Touchdowns for Dreamers campaign.

Dion Dawkins and his foundation, Dion's Dreamers, are asking fans to make a pledge for every touchdown the Bills score or make a one-time donation. With that, they have the chance to grab some signed merchandise, along with the joy of seeing those home team touchdowns.

All donations will help Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie, Niagara & the Southern Tier match more kids in Western New York with a big brother or sister.

It's a cause that organizers say hits home for anyone who has ever needed someone to lean on or a mentor to help guide them on the right path.

"I'm one of five and I'm the youngest brother," said Dawkins. "I appreciate all of my big brothers and my big sister and I think for kids that don't have it that might want it, this is something that I think should be available in whatever type of direction it is. For someone they can just push on and lean on, just to have that older person to be a big brother or big sister."

"It's a rewarding expierence," said Tim, a big brother. "To be able to work with someone and spend time. Frankly, I consider Noah truly my little brother these days. We're good friends, we hang out, we have a great time and we pick on each other and that's what i do with my older brother and it's fun to have the little brother I never had."

The goal is to reach $25,000. Right now, they've raised just over $12,000.
