Stephen M. Pesesky III, 31, of Lockport, faces charges of murder in the second degree, a felony, following a fatal stabbing that took place early Saturday morning in Elmira.
Elmira Police say that at around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 900 block of Johnson Street for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found 34-year-old Jennifer A. Karda with stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
