April marks Distracted Driving Awareness Month.

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration has been pushing its Put the Phone Away or Pay campaign all month long.

According to AT&T, more than 95% of those surveyed consider smartphone distracted driving to be dangerous, but nine out of 10 people admit to doing it anyway.

Breanna Fuss spoke with members of the Niagara County Sheriff's Office and checked out a distracted driving simulator to see the consequences first-hand.
