Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner is hoping to see the Rural and Agricultural Jobs Act included in the state budget. It would create a $100 million investment fund designed to boost jobs in upstate agribusiness and small businesses. The legislation has bipartisan support and was included in both the Senate and Assembly one-house budget resolutions.
