Next week, state lawmakers will be interviewing people interested in the state attorney general seat. Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie says it will be an open process. But good government groups don't want legislators to essentially pick the new AG now, but to let the voters decide who they want in the fall. Susan Lerner from Common Cause New York joins me now to explain why the group just wants them to pick a placeholder until election day.
