To start the fourth week of school for most districts, parents can now see the COVID-19 statuses for their kids' schools as of Monday morning.

Families were feeling left in the dark the past three weeks of school if their district wasn’t sharing COVID-19 numbers on a district website, because the statewide school COVID-19 report card has been down.

The report card shows data aggregated from public, private, charter and BOCES programs.

For each full day of school, districts are required to submit a daily report of COVID-positive students and staff to the New York State Department of Health.
