The Steuben County Health Department is providing free COVID-19 testing Friday and Saturday after several recent outbreaks.

The public health director says there are 36 active cases. Those numbers are up dramatically over the past 10 days after exposures at Corning Center and Lighthouse Baptist Church.

She encourages anyone who may have had contact to get tested.

The drive-thru event is happening noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Victory Highway Wesleyan Church in Painted Post.
