Caitlyn Frisina, a no-longer missing Florida girl, was found safe in Syracuse, more than 1,000 miles away from her home and nearly a week after she was reported missing.

Frisina, 17, was reported missing on November 26 by her family in Fort White, Florida. Investigators with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office believe she ran off with her 27-year-old soccer coach, Rian Rodriguez.

Just after 4 p.m. Friday, a state trooper spotted their vehicle in North Syracuse, along South Bay Road. After driving through the Sonic station, they were eventually hemmed in and taken into custody in the parking lot of the nearby Subway.

Both Rodriguez and Frisina were brought in for interviews. Rodriguez is being held on a warrant from Columbia County, while the parents are flying up to meet Caitlyn. Rodriguez will remain held while waiting for an extradition hearing.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office will release more details on the case Monday afternoon.
