Police are now investigating the suspicious death of a Town of DeWitt man a homicide.

Officers were called to the scene on North Midler Avenue at the Midler Meadows Trailer Park around 5:45 Thursday evening. When they arrived, they found 54-year-old Lyle Lyons dead inside his home.

Investigators say this is very much an ongoing investigation, and they're still working to collect evidence and interview neighbors. Anyone with information is asked to contact DeWitt Police at tips@townofdewitt.com.

This is the second criminal investigation this week at the park. Police arrested two suspects in a shooting of an occupied vehicle days before. There were no injuries in that incident.
