Last-minute chaos struck an Olympic team just before competition. The Jamaican women's bobsled team found itself without a sled after its driving coach quit.

According to the team, the coach threatened to take the sled with her. However Jamaican beer company Red Stripe stepped in. The company took to Twitter offering to purchase the team a new bobsled.

The team's public relations director, Syracuse native Kathleen Pulito, quickly responded and got others to retweet the offer. The team was then able to compete, making it the first women's team from its country in the Olympics.

"It means a lot this year," Pulito said. "A lot this year, but going forward being able to have our own bobsled and not rent a bobsled is going to take the team ... it's going to propel us to the next four years."

The new sled cost $50,000. According to NBC, the team came in 17th place in run one.
