The Libertarian candidate for governor is taking his message across the state, meeting with small business owners.

Larry Sharpe was at B&B Lumber Company in Jamesville Friday talking to staff about the challenges of running a business.

He says it’s important to make these stops in order to hear what the people of New York have to say.

"I have to start this now,” said Sharpe. “I can't change New York tomorrow; it's not going to happen. Can I begin the transformation a cultural change that will make this state a better state? Yes, and I start that by winning in November."

Other candidates in the race include Governor Andrew Cuomo, democrat Cynthia Nixon, Republican John DeFransico and Green candidate Howie Hawkins.
