Following the premiere of the Netflix Series "13 Reasons Why", school educators are determining new methods to address teenage mental health.

Guidance Counselors have noticed an increase of mental health diagnoses in students at Watertown High school.

They believe social media is one of the causes.

Students are able to bully one another by using social media apps, to spread harmful messages and photos with a large audience.

Counselors added additional outreach programs like parental resources,  and school social workers.

Families and friends should look out for signs of mental health issues, like withdrawal and substance abuse.
