A seventh person has died from COVID-19 in Onondaga County.
The Onondaga County Health Department made the announcement Thursday. The victim was a man in his 50s with underlying health conditions and had been hospitalized.

Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon announced Thursday there are now 20 new cases of COVID-19 in the county, bringing the total to 442.
Forty-three people are currently hospitalized with the virus while 23 are in critical condition.
One hundred fifty-four people have fully recovered from COVID-19.
As McMahon has done since the pandemic made its way to Onondaga County, he stressed the importance of social distancing.
