Since the cancellation of in person classes at Elden Elementary School due to COVID-19, someone is uplifting students in a positive way.

Elden Elementary School’s very own principal has figured out a way to make his beloved students laugh digitally. Since the doors have been shut for Elden Elementary School, their principal Thomas Coughlin, has decided to let the kids see him via YouTube.

He won’t be wearing a suit however, instead he is wearing costumes and bringing positive messages with each video.

The responses have been overwhelming, from both students and parents alike. Even his friends from different states are feeling the joy from watching his videos.

"This distance learning that we are doing right now it’s extremely important that the kids feel a connection," he said.

The goal of Coughlin is to bring everyone a slice of normalcy and humor amid the COVID-19 chaos.
