The total number of COVID-19 cases in Onondaga County is now at 422, up from 397 on Tuesday.

Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon announced the number on Wednesday during his daily coronavirus briefing. The current active cases in the county is at 275.

There are now 141 people who have fully recovered from the virus.

Forty-one individuals with the virus are currently in the hospital, with 22 patients being in critical condition.

Later during his briefing, McMahon mentioned that employees at two businesses tested positive for COVID-19. Those who may have been exposed at either the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in DeWitt or Colonial Laundromat in Liverpool should monitor their symptoms.

 

Upstate University Hospital CEO Dr. Robert Corona announced that 22 nurses will be traveling to Stony Brook University Hospital to assist health care workers.
