After dominating Major League Lacrosse the past several seasons, Rob Pannell is ready to begin his new journey in the Premier Lacrosse League. Selected third overall in the 2020 expansion draft, Pannell is set to join Atlas L.C., a team that already boasts his younger brother on the roster.

For Pannell, the switch to the PLL was a no-brainer move. Pannell notes that the leagues television deal and their online social media presence as a big factor in his decision to jump to the PLL. At age 30, Pannell also wanted to join many of his colleagues and friends who had already made the jump to the Premier Lacrosse League in 2019.

With the league set to play a truncated two-week schedule, Pannell is back in Smithtown, NY training at his parents home with creative workouts to stay in shape. Regardless of the current shutdown, Pannell is in great spirits and ready to take the field once play begins in the PLL
