Tuesday was similar to Monday in that a lot of news happened and it is hard to cover it all. There was the federal appeals court decision to overturn the corruption conviction of Dean and Adam Skelos. Meanwhile, President Trump took a break from fighting with NFL players to announce assistance for those in Puerto Rico recovering from hurricane Maria, and that he plans to visit next week. Also, Governor Cuomo left the state again, this time for a union convention in Las Vegas. Joining us to talk about all of this are the political Insiders: John McArdle served as a long-time spokesman for Republicans in the state Senate. He's now with Capitol Communications. Melissa Mansfield was press secretary for the Assembly Democrats and is now Vice President at SKDKnickerbocker.
