WALLKILL, N.Y. — State police have made an arrest from April's parking lot shooting in the town of Wallkill.

Police say Elijah Underwood, 23, of Middletown, has been charged with second-degree attempted murder, along with four other felony charges.

State police had said a person was shot multiple times outside JD's Sports Bar in the middle of the night one April weekend and was sent to the hospital.

Investigators say they think there was a fight inside the bar that later escalated to a brawl with about 15 people involved. They say that’s when a man was shot in the parking lot.

Underwood is in Orange County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bail or $600,000 bond.
