NEWBURGH, N.Y. — Police say one man is dead and a teenager has been arrested after a hit-and-run in the city of Newburgh.

Police say responders found a motorcyclist lying in the road at South Street and Lander Street around 11:30 p.m. Friday.

The man was later declared dead at the hospital.

Quamir Johnson, 16, of the town of New Windsor, is charged with driving without a license, leaving the scene and not yielding right of way.

Police have not yet released the name of the victim.
