ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Monroe County sheriff deputy was trapped following a two vehicle crash in Rochester.

Officials from the sheriff's office say the door of the deputy's vehicle had to be popped open after the crash at the corner of West Main and West Broad streets.

They say the deputy was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for neck pain and a shoulder injury.

Deputies say the driver of the other vehicle has a minor knee injury, but declined medical treatment Thursday afternoon.

They say it does not appear there will be any tickets issued.
