Penfield rallied to advance to the State Class A girls lacrosse final on Saturday in Cortland.

The Patriots outscored North Rockland 5-1 to finish the game, including Morgan Cox's overtime game winner. She scored four goals and Lucy Rugaber added three for the Patriots, who face CBA from Syracuse in Saturday's 2pm Final.

Brighton returns to the Class B final for the seventh time in program history after a 17-7 win over John Jay. The Barons won the State title in 2005. Katie Smolensky scored five goals while Katie Lederman and Rene Gangarosa scored three goals each.

In Class C, HF-L is making their tenth State Final appearance after holding off Brewster, 10-9. Kierin Ratliff scored four times while Payton Reed and Paige Smith scored twice each. Smith scored the game winning goal with 6:58 to play. The Cougars take on Cold Spring Harbor at 10am in Cortland in pursuit of their first State title.

In Class D, Bronxville knocked out Palmyra-Macedon 14-5. Abie LaCocca scored twice for the Red Raiders.
