WEBSTER, N.Y. — The countdown to Christmas continues at the Wilbert`s Christmas Tree Farm in Webster.

“It`s something that I look forward to every year and I hope that they carry on the tradition when I`m no longer here,” said 25-year customer, Mio Sotxiscantero.

Wilbert`s Christmas Tree Farm has been in business since the 1970s. Since then, the family has continued to grow nine different kinds of Christmas trees year round for the holiday season. An estimated 100,000 trees sit on the Wilbert`s 100 acres of land.

“It`s really been going on for decades and decades. Truly there are two or sometimes three generations of families that have gotten their trees from Wilbert`s and we are a large part of their Christmas tree-dition every year,” said Manager Eric Wilbert.

“It`s going to make my Christmas a good Christmas this year by spending time with my family and getting the tree today,” said 9-year-old Airianna Bermudez.

A nativity scene with sheep and goats sits alongside the farm. The attraction helps the Wilbert family provide their yearly dose of ‘tree-dition’ to Christmas lovers of all ages.

“Recognize how precious life is and how important  it is to take this time to get everybody together so that  we can spend these moments together as a family and be able to cherish them for the rest of our lives,” said Sotxiscantero.

The Wilbert`s Christmas Tree Farm is expected to be open on Christmas Eve.
