ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Rochester police are looking for a driver they say left the scene after a rollover crash on the city's north side Sunday morning.
Officers arrived to find a heavily damaged SUV abandoned on Avenue D near Conkey Avenue around 7 a.m.
They say it appears the vehicle hit a tree before it flipped on its side. Officers say the driver had left on foot before first responders got to the scene.
It's not yet clear what made the driver go off the road.
The investigation is ongoing.
