The Colgate Raiders are heading into their sixth NCAA tournament, as the program seeks its first NCAA tournament win. Colgate is on a nine win streak, which includes the Patriot League championship game on Wednesday.

To continue on in the NCAA, the team will have to get by Texas, which just won the Big 12 Tournament.

Coach Matt Langel has led the Raiders to 26 wins this season, which is Colgate's single season program record. Come Thursday night, fans will be watching and rallying around their team.

"Our last several years, Coach Langel's done an incredible job with the team. It's been a lot of fun to watch over the last several years as well. So, another trip to the dance is a lot of fun to be a part of," said Colgate University Rugby Director David Chapman.

"It's our fifth or sixth year that we've won the Patriot League. Hopefully this year is different from the rest of the years. We always go to March Madness but tend to lose the first game, so hopefully we can go to the second game of March Madness," said Colgate University sophomore Alan Reyes.

Colgate's opponent Texas defeated Kansas to win the Big 12 Tournament over the weekend. Oddsmakers list Colgate as an early 15-point underdog in the game. However, Colgate averaged more than 78 points per game this season, which was a league high.

Colgate will tip off against Texas at 7:25 p.m. EST Thursday on TBS.
