Syracuse police are showing neighborhood activists some of the high-tech crime-fighting tools they use on the job.
They hosted a presentation with the local Neighborhood Watch Groups of Syracuse on Wednesday in the Grant Middle School cafeteria, showing off everything from drones to their new robotic K-9.
"We strongly believe in the use of technology where we can and we think it will save resources [and] will reduce response times to calls," First Deputy Chief Richard Schoff said.
