Astronomical spring may be less than a week away on the calendar, but the weather says winter isn't over yet. A large and powerful nor'easter rapidly intensified as it tracked up the Eastern Seaboard, bringing major impacts across the Northeast.
Along with strong winds and coastal flooding, this system dumped a significant amount of snow across parts of the region, with many spots seeing more than a foot of snow pile up on Tuesday.
We saw the highest accumulations reported across parts of the Hudson Valley and Eastern New York. The New York City Metro area saw the least amount of snow, with just a trace in many places.
