DALLAS — The Dallas Cowboys are set to open the season against reigning Super Bowl champions the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Thursday night, and there’s a new way to watch the game that may rival being there in person.

HANG, an app, is debuting Thursday and allows fans to connect with some of the game’s biggest stars during the game.

Announced so far for Thursday are former Dallas tight end Jason Witten, Super Bowl champion DeMarcus Ware, Hall of Famer Derrick Brooks and five-time All-Pro Terrell Owens. It’s anticipated more stars will be named ahead of the game.

Depending on the level you select, you can interact with and ask questions of the stars during the game. The athletes will rotate each quarter.

VIP ticket holders can speak directly with the pros, while those in what’s called the Spectator gallery have the option of texting questions.
