ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal gave horror fans a peek of what they can expect at this year’s Halloween Horror nights on Sunday.
The popular survival horror video game, “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” will be joining the lineup of scares coming to Universal’s annual Halloween event.
Universal officials made the announcement via its Halloween Horror Nights account on the social media platform, X, over the weekend, stating that Five Nights at Freddy’s “is coming in a whole new way” to the Halloween event in both Orlando and Hollywood locations.

The video game, which made its debut in the summer of 2014, has expanded into a horror franchise featuring several video game sequels, spinoffs, a book series and more. It was made into a movie in 2023, with a sequel set to hit theaters in December 2025.
More details about the attraction will be coming soon, officials said.
Halloween Horror Nights will run from Aug. 29 — Nov. 2.
