SAN ANTONIO — Gun rights activists back in Olmos Park – this time in search for justice and accountability.

Open Carry Texas founder ‘CJ’ Grisham and fellow member Jim Everard met with Olmos police Wednesday to pick up belongings that included confiscated firearms and accessories.

The move comes after the two men were detained and arrested for carrying guns in public in a demonstration late March.

Now they are both out of legal trouble in Bexar County after their charges were dropped.

Grisham says having the charges dismissed is not an apology.

“We are going to meet with our civil attorneys to find out what is the best remedy. Jim and I don’t do this to get rich. I don’t want to get rich. I’m not looking for money. I’m looking for justice,” Grisham said.

Spectrum News reached out to Olmos Park city officials about Grisham’s and Everard's case and was told the city would be not be providing a comment.
