Overall, our pattern stays calm tonight into the weekend, we just have to look out for a stray shower or two south of I-10 and along our coastal plains into the heat of the days otherwise expect mostly sunny skies with a few light clouds occasionally mixing in.

Seasonally hot temperatures continue through the weekend and into next week. With highs in the mid 90s and lows in the mid-70s. Winds are mainly out of the south from 5 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph possible.

Over the weekend, a Saharan Dust Layer moves in from the Gulf, bringing hazy skies in. Impacts to Texas will be minimal overall. Sensitive populations may notice slightly lower air quality, but at least we’ll all get to enjoy some vibrant sunrises and sunsets.
