A Massachusetts native, Molly Hurley began her journalism career in Minot, North Dakota, where she honed her reporting skills for two years. She moved to Rowan County in 2019, joining the Spectrum News 1 Charlotte team.
Inspired by stories that matter, Molly says that connecting with people and sharing their stories is something she will never take lightly. She says storytelling is an art that can bring positive change to communities.
When recalling her most memorable stories, Molly says one that tops the charts was her coverage of Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to Minot Air Force Base.
