DURHAM, N.C. – On the college hardwood, we're just over a month away from the potential start of the 2020-21 college basketball season, which is slated to begin November 25.

In Durham, the Duke Blue Devils will be a heavy favorite to compete for another ACC Championship. Head coach Mike Krzyzewski is once again bringing in a stellar freshman class, but his leading scorer from a year ago will enter the new campaign full of confidence thanks to the 20 pounds of muscle he's added on.

Sophomore forward Matthew Hurt is up to a playing weight of 240 pounds and that's going to be a major factor for him as he wants to be more of a force down low in the paint.

Hurt averaged nearly 10 points per game as a freshman and shot close to 40% from three point range.

Sports anchor J.B. Ricks asked him about his new found desire to become more "beastly" in the paint this upcoming season.
