ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Tuesday is the United Way's 24-hour donation drive known as "ROC the Day."

It is super easy to contribute — especially for those who are all warmed up with after Cyber Monday shopping. It's all about supporting people in need in your community.

This online campaign is Rochester's way of giving back on this "Giving Tuesday" that's happening around the world.

ROC the Day allows those who can to give what they can, where they want. The online event has participating organizations listed  from A to Z. Donors can narrow the search by name, category and county. There's also a description of each organization available that details what they do and where.

The secure online donation goes directly to that agency to show exactly where those hard earned dollars are going.

Last year's campaign raised more than $750,000 for more than 500 non-profit programs.

Anyone can donate until midnight at ROCtheday.org.
