ERIE COUNTY, N.Y. — Numbers released on Tuesday by Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office show the daily COVID-19 positivity rate in Erie County's yellow zone continues to increase.

Yellow zone guidelines restrict gatherings to 25 people or less, but do permit indoor and outdoor dining — though a maximum of four people are allowed at each table.

Erie County’s yellow zone positivity rate increased to 8.05 percent on Monday. From November 1-7, the positivity rate was 5.35 percent, and the rate from November 8-14 was 7.30 percent. The current seven-day rolling average is 7.33 percent.

Cuomo’s office reported 392 new positive COVID-19 cases in Erie County, with Western New York having a daily positivity rate of 6.5 percent on Monday.
